What if you need to use the linux operating system desktop in many enterprise environments, but not in front of the server?

Many friends may have encountered such confusion, need to use linux server at work, linux operating system is mostly direct command line operation, but there are also some software need graphical operation, and then can not run the computer room every day, what should be done?

Environment:

Operating system: Redhat6.5 (desktop installed)

Remote tool: X shell6

VNC service: you can output the desktop to tigervnc tigervnc-server remotely

After ssh remotes to the server, yum installs tigervnc tigervnc-server

Step 1: check to see if the vnc service is installed

If you can't see anything like this, it's not installed.

Step 2: install the vnc service

Step 3: check again

It can be regarded as the service that has just been installed, indicating that the installation has been completed.

Step 4: set the remote password port

": 8" means port 5908 is enabled ": 1" represents 5901, and so on.

Step 5: use the remote client remote linux server

So you can use the linux desktop remotely.

With this service, you only need to ask the network administrator to map port 5908 to the external network to ok.
