VM shared storage virtualization, three servers, two of which have the same configuration 580G7 CPU4820 and the other 580G9 CPU4809 V4. Before migration, there was no problem. Recently, a new server and an original server often did not respond. Yesterday, there was a virtual host that did not respond and restarted. Several virtual machines migrated from the old server to the new server without problem. After migration, they could not migrate to the old server. There was no problem before. After many judgments, the reason is that the CPU version is too different, resulting in the inability to migrate.

Solution:

1. Shut down virtual machine-Modify virtual machine configuration-Options-Advanced-CPUID mask-Select hide NX/XD flag from client-Advanced Modify level 1 or the item before 800001 Modify ECX item, compare the required bits in migration error, change the corresponding position of 11, change the short line to 0-Change those places where 1 is required to 0, X and 0 do not need to be changed

2. Shut down all virtual machines and readjust EVC to modify CPUID authentication compatibility list

The first method is for modifying a single station that cannot be migrated, and the second method is for multiple stations that cannot be migrated
