2. Preparation

1. A 32GB flash drive (or 64GB), preferably a USB 3.0 interface

3.1Using diskpart tools to make a boot flash drive

1. Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port of the computer

3. Use the diskpart disk partition management tool:

4. View disk information:

List disk

5. Select the physical disk you want to operate (where U disk is disk 1):

7. Create the primary partition:

8. Set the created partition as the active primary partition:

9. Format the USB flash drive into NTFS format:

Format fs=ntfs quick

10. Assign an available drive letter to the USB drive:

3.2 copy the system mirrored to a U disk

Copy the installation files from the Win 10 image to the root directory of the USB drive.

3.3 install the system

1. Set the BIOS startup item to flash drive first boot (here is the test done in the virtual machine)

4. Select a version to install the system.

IV. Add: start using USB disk in the virtual machine

1. Edit virtual machine settings-- > Click add: hard disk

4. Using the diskpart partition management tool, I can see that the USB disk is disk 3 on my machine.

5. Device: select disk 3music-> use the entire disk

6. After turning on the virtual machine, press "F2" to enter the BIOS or select "Power"-- > enter the firmware option to enter the BIOS when turning on the power.

7. Set the USB disk to start first

8. Click Save and exit

9. After booting, you will enter the system installation interface in the boot disk.
