The nominal capacity of the original ink cartridge is PG-830, the color ink cartridge CL-831 can print about 200 pages, the A4 file coverage is 5%, the large-capacity black ink cartridge PG- 40 and the color ink cartridge CL-41 can print about 300 pages, and the A4 file coverage is 5%.

1. After power on, turn on the printer switch, open the lid, and you can install the ink cartridge. The ink cartridges are packed in a sealed plastic box. Open the sealed package and remove the ink cartridge. Use matching ink cartridges

Hard installation will damage not only the ink cartridges, but also the internal parts of the printer.

After many users buy back ink cartridges, they often do not read the instructions and cannot install them, saying that there is something wrong with the printer design. In fact, after taking out the ink cartridge, you must tear off the yellow seal before you can see the transparent impervious film. When you install the printer, it will automatically pierce the film. Usually, the print head moves to the leftmost or rightmost ink change position. Do not move by hand, the application of external force will only damage the trajectory of the print head. If the printhead is not reset, restart the computer to allow the printhead to reset automatically. Pull up the protective clip of the ink cartridge and it will relax and pop up and pick up the ink cartridge vertically. If you feel nervous, swing slightly from side to side. When removing the old ink cartridge, be sure to hold the printhead gently and do not pull the ink cartridge out of thin air. There are two fixing devices on one side of the ink cartridge, facing the locking mechanism of the protection clip, and the nozzle facing the ink inlet hole above the print head. After the ink cartridge is put down, press the protective clip and you will hear a locking sound. If there is no sound, the installation is incorrect.

Don't leave the printhead empty.

If you do not use the printer for a long time, it is best to manually clean the print head before saving. It is not enough to take out the old cartridges, because the remaining ink on the nozzle will slowly dry up. You might as well keep the old ink cartridge and use its ink to be more durable. Especially in winter, the sprinkler is easy to block and it will be troublesome.

Clean the nozzle after loading the new ink cartridge.

Do not close the front panel of the printer immediately after loading the new ink cartridge in order to understand the working condition of the printer. First control the software to start the printer ink filling process, do not cut off the power supply in the process, otherwise the ink filling will not completely affect the accuracy of the next printing operation. After the ink is filled, it is best to clean the nozzle once to wash off the remaining ink and keep the cartridge 100% pure.
