Although it was noted that Twitter whistleblower Eysan Agarwal shared some internal information a month ago and called for "starting in March or April", the popular new report further narrowed the one plus eight agenda.

Global release in mid-April?

If the anonymous source of TechRadar is correct, one plus 8 and one plus Pro will see the day in the second week of April. Please note that there is still more than a month to go, not to mention about half a year before the highly acclaimed one plus 7T Pro was released on October 10 last year.

Perhaps most notably, the launch around April 9 is less than 11 months before the May 14 release of one plus 7 and 7 Pro, while one plus six and iPhone 7 are only a year away. In retrospect, it is probably important to emphasize that OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 5 were launched in June 2016 and 2017, respectively, while OnePlus 2 was released in July 2015.

Therefore, it is not surprising to hear that the company plans to further improve the release schedule in the first half of this year. Design, specifications, Lite models and Verizon usability.

At the mid-April launch, we were not entirely sure whether the company's first mid-range phone since the 2015 OnePlus X would include the high-end plus 8 and 8 Pro, but it was a safer bet, at least for the time being.

At the same time, the Lite will feature a modern punching design, a triple rear camera system and a flat panel display with a diagonal size of about 6.4in, which is almost entirely engraved in stone and is likely to have the ultra-fast refresh rate of the 90Hz. It doesn't sound very "lightweight", which is why we are not sure whether it is an affordable device, after all, how it is branded.

The other big question is, when will one plus 8 5G be released on the largest wireless network? Verizon's support for 5G OnePlus phones is obviously a big deal, which is the footprint of the company's recent partnership with T-Mobile.

WAMPLAS 8 and 8 Pro are expected to share much of the same superb design language, state-of-the-art Snapdragon 865 processors and, perhaps most importantly, 120 Hz "fluid" displays. Of course, compared with non-Pro brothers, the 8 Pro is expected to offer more screen space, larger batteries, fourth-generation rear shooters, state-of-the-art waterproofing and wireless charging.

The features of the next two years have become a wish list for many core fans for many years, so it's also good to see that the company is willing to finally adapt to industry standards and respond to user feedback.

Third, will people be satisfied with the inevitable price increase of functional one plus Pro? By the way, there is no guarantee, although so far, most forecasts show that the price of one plus eight Lite is around $450, while the "normal" one plus eight and the impolite high-end eight Pro are expected to start at around $550 and $700.
