First of all, we need to enter the VMware, open the two virtual hosts server2016 and win10, and enter the computer E disk in the server2016 system we are going to use as the server. At this time, the disk is empty. We need to create a new file to be shared. Here are two ways to operate:

Right-click the new folder in the E disk, then right-click the newly created folder to rename it (example: abc), then enter the folder, then right-click to select the new folder (example: txt file), then select the file rename (example: abc), enter this file and enter the text we want to present (example: "thisi is abc"), click "Save" to end, generally this method will be more cumbersome to operate Let me tell you a simple and easy way. Find the command prompt where cmd calls us in the search function of the toolbar, and we enter the following steps:

Mkdir abc (the folder abc has been generated on the E disk at this time)

Cd abc (enter the new abc folder at this time)

Generally speaking, there are some important or private files in some folders in our own computers, and we don't want to see them when others are using the computer. at this time, our easiest operation is to hide the files. but now many people also know the display method of this hidden folder, so it is very unsafe at this time, so I will introduce the permission settings of private files for you. Set relevant permissions without hiding them.

Then we go to the E drive and find the folder we just created, right-click to enter the properties.

When we enter security, we see two pieces of content, one is the user or group that can operate on this file, where:

CREATOR OWNER is the creator of the file

SYSTEM is the system

Administrators is the administrators group

Users ordinary user group

When you click on the corresponding user, the box below will prompt you what the corresponding operation permissions are.

At this point, if we want to set permissions, click Edit on this page, and we will enter the permission settings for this folder.

At this time, we click on the ordinary user group (Users). If we want to set it to access and directly click the reject option after full control in the mine, we will find that after rejecting all the ticks, there are still three options in the allowed column that are ticked. At this time, let's try out which one is effective if both have ticks.

At this time, we go to the computer management, local users and groups in the service manager, click on the user, right-click on the blank space, and select the new user. Here we create a new user name: zhangsna, password: 123123, check the password when logging in, select the password that will never expire, and click create. At this time, the zhangsan user belongs to the Users group. At that time, we set the denied access to Users, and we logged out our account. Select zhangsan to log in to the E disk and see the folder of abc. Click to enter the folder and want to go in and see the relevant files. At this time, you will be prompted that you have no right to view this folder.

If you click to continue, you need to enter the administrator's password to get access. In fact, the permission restrictions we have set have been proved to be effective through experiments.

The second situation: at this time, I set up that only zhangsan can be accessed by this user. What should I do?

Next, log out of the account, log in using the administrator, go to the abc folder on the E disk, right-click to select Properties, Security, Users group, and then we see that the previously set status is rejected. At this time, we still click Edit, choose add, enter the user name zhangsan, click to check the name. At this time, because the account is created, it can be detected. Click OK to add. And give him permission to read.

But at this time, there is a problem. Above, we have set the Users group to be inaccessible, and the zhangsan account also belongs to the Users group. Can the zhangsan account be accessed at this time? When we click OK, a prompt box will pop up:

At this time, it is still inaccessible. We can choose to edit and delete the Users group from the file permission group, but will prompt that it cannot be deleted and has patrilineal inheritance permissions.

At this time, we return to E disk. The path of the abc folder is under E. We right-click on E disk, Properties, Security, which has the permission settings for Uesrs. At this time, we can also choose not to inherit. Right-click on the abc folder, Properties, Security, Advanced, enter the advanced security settings, click to disable inheritance, and then there will be the following prompt box. The specific actions are as follows:

At this point, we go to the TXT file in the abc folder, right-click and select, and we find that the file also has permissions. At this time, if we want to delete the permissions in the file, zhangsan this account and do not allow him to access the file, click Edit to delete. At this time, the same prompt box will pop up and show that there is patrilineal inheritance from the abc folder. We already know how to do this. Enter Advanced and disable inheritance. At this time, jump out of the prompt box and select "display permissions for converting inherited permissions into this object", and click OK. If you delete the permissions of the zhangsan account again under the txt file in this case, then all the zhangsan account can do is have access to the abc folder, and you can also see the existence of the abc.txt document in this folder, but there is no access to the abc.txt document.

Let's take a specific look at the meaning of each permission, we find the abc.txt file, properties, security, edit, add, search zhangsan, confirm, add complete. (there are two permissions of read, execute and read by default.)

1. Full control: contains all permissions

two。 Read and execute: if there is no tick, the read tick still exists, if the read is unchecked, then the read and execute ticks disappear at the same time, so reading and execution include both reading and execution. Reading means that you can see what is in it, and execution means that if there is an application file (also called execution file) ending with exe, then you must have the permission to execute.

3. Modify: click the modify tick, and the write is also checked, but if the modification is unchecked, the write check still exists, which indicates that if you need to have the permission to modify, you must have the permission to write.

4. Write: if this permission is checked, we can see the content when zhangsan users enter the document. At this time, we can add content to it and click Save to find it. We can delete one of the paragraphs when we open the document, and then click Save. Then enter the document to modify the characters in one of the paragraphs, and then click to save it. At this time, we found that the function of writing is the permission to add, delete, and modify the data. let's try again to see if we can rename this document, this time prompts the need for administrator permissions, so there is no file renaming authority.

5. Special permissions: controls whether the current user can see the contents of the security tab. For example, when we delete the permissions of the zhangsan account from the advanced security settings of abc in the administrator state, when we change the zhangsan account and log in to the abc folder, right-click the properties. Security, at this time, you will not be able to view the list of security tabs.
