HCL can only be installed in the English path. This problem occurs if the user name is Chinese or the installation path has a Chinese directory. Make sure that the characters in the system user name and installation path are all ASCII characters.

Failed to start HCL after HCL installation is complete; prompt: "VirtualBox is not installed, please install first" or "Installation failed! Error: the system cannot find the specified path." problem?

The installation path of VirtualBox does not support Chinese characters, and if the system user name contains non-ASCII characters, HCL will not start. Make sure that the characters in the system username and installation path are all ASCII characters. After the HCL installation is complete, start HCL, create a device error, and prompt: "failed to create device" question?

A. there is residue in VirtualBox. Find VirtualBox VMs directory and delete Simware_Base.

B. uninstall VirtualBox, then delete the VirtualBox VMs folder; restart the device, and then reinstall VirtualBoxHCL after the installation is complete, start HCL, start the device with an error, and prompt: "device startup failed" problem?

It is mainly caused by the residue when the VirtualBox is closed. The problem can be solved by ending the vBoxSVC.exe process and then reopening the HCL.
