The experimental topology is as follows:
Experimental procedure:
1. Install a virtual machine linux on esxi host respectively.
Create standard switches on the ESXI host, one belonging to VLAN10 and the other belonging to VLAN20, test whether they can communicate, and then change to the same VLAN10 to test communication.
3. Configure the Load Balancer and backup of the standard switch. When the first NIC is down, the second NIC will work immediately. Disable failover (to prevent the stability of storage from always switching), then disconnect the first NIC, and then test that it can ping.
Delete the created standard switch, then establish a distributed switch, and limit the peak traffic of the distributed switch to 10M.
5. Change the network cards of the virtual machines of the two esxi hosts to distributed port groups respectively, and then test can ping.
Experimental process:
Lab preparation: Add 5 NIC to each ESXi host, i.e. 6 NIC in total:
1. Install a virtual machine linux on esxi host respectively.

16) Create a virtual machine on another ESXi host in the same way.
Once both virtual machines have been created, you can power them on and install them.
Create standard switches on the ESXI host, one belonging to VLAN10 and the other belonging to VLAN20, test whether they can communicate, and then change to the same VLAN10 to test communication.

8) Similarly, another ESXi host creates a standard switch.
9) After the standard switches of the two hosts are created, we can ping each other to test connectivity, and the result is able to ping.
Let's change the switch to which the virtual machine is connected to the standard switch we just created:
Similarly, the switch of another virtual machine is also changed to a new standard switch. Then you can do the ping test.
10) Now we change the vlan of two standard switches, one to vlan10 and the other to vlan20. Let's test the connectivity again. The result is that it is not correct (because different vlan cannot communicate).
Similarly, the vlan of another virtual machine is changed to 20, and the result is correct.
Then we change the vlan of both virtual machines to 10, and then test the connectivity.
3. Configure the Load Balancer and backup of the standard switch. When the first NIC is down, the second NIC will work immediately. Disable failover (to prevent the stability of storage from always switching), then disconnect the first NIC, and then test that it can ping.

7) Similarly, add a NIC to the new standard switch of another ESXi host. (Note that adding an active adapter is doing Load Balancer; adding a standby adapter is doing NIC backup.) (In this experiment, I only did Load Balancer, not backup. The method is actually the same.)
8)
9)
10)
11)
12) Similarly, the VM1 NIC of another ESXi host is also broken.
13) We did a ping test and found that if VM1 was broken, the virtual machine could still ping.
14) We'll put VM1 back into use.
Delete the created standard switch, then establish a distributed switch, and limit the peak traffic of the distributed switch to 10M.
1)
2)
3) Similarly, another virtual machine changes the connected switch to the default standard switch.
4) At this time, we can delete the standard switch we created.
5)
6) Similarly, delete the standard virtual machine we created for the other ESXi host.
7)
8)
9)
10)

13)
14)
15)
16)
17)
18)
19) Similarly, the switch used by another virtual machine is also changed to the distributed switch group we just built.
20) Then test the Ping connectivity test of both virtual machines, and the result is that the general rule is correct.
