1. Download and install VMware Workstation Pro 15

Second: preparatory work

1. After CentOS is installed and started, change to the directory where you need to install ELK, and execute the following command:

Wget https://artifacts.elastic.co/downloads/elasticsearch/elasticsearch-7.2.1-linux-x86_64.tar.gzwget https://artifacts.elastic.co/downloads/logstash/logstash-7.2.1.tar.gzwget https://artifacts.elastic.co/downloads/kibana/kibana-7.2.1-linux-x86_64.tar.gz

Tar-zxvf elasticsearch-7.2.1-linux-x86_64.tar.gztar-zxvf kibana-7.2.1-linux-x86_64.tar.gztar-zxvf logstash-7.2.1.tar.gz

Three: install Elasticsearch

1. Go to the config directory under elasticsearch-7.2.1 and edit the elasticsearch.yml file (named cluster name and node name)

two。 Edit the jvm.options file (I commented out the original parameter, the new configuration parameter is 512m, in my virtual machine, if I do not modify this configuration, I will prompt "reject connection" at startup)

3. Use a non-root user to enter the bin directory of elasticsearch-7.2.1 and execute the following command:

. / elasticsearch

There may be a problem of unauthorized access to jvm.options files. You can authorize it with the following command:

Directory where chown-R xxx:xxx elasticsearch is located

5. Use the browser to open: 127.0.0.1virtual 9200 or create a new terminal window, and execute the command:

Curl 'http://localhost:9200/?pretty'

6. When you see the following, the installation startup is complete.

Four: install Logstash

1. Enter the config directory under Logstash, refer to part 4 above, configure jvm.options, and colleagues create a new logstash.conf file under the config directory.

Input {file {type = > "log" path = > "/ logs/*.log" start_position = > "beginning"} output {stdout {codec = > rubydebug {}} elasticsearch {hosts = > "127.0.0.1" index = > "log-% {+ YYYY.MM.dd}"}}

two。 Go back to the Logstash/bin directory and execute the command:

. / logstash-f.. / config/logstash.conf

Five: install Kibana

1. Go to the config directory under Kibana and edit the kibana.yml file as follows:
