I. Cursor movement in single character units;

In command mode

H to the left.

l Right

J up.

k down

II. Cursor movement in word units;

w Move the cursor forward one word;

b Move the cursor backward one word;

The cursor of the above two commands falls on the first letter of word;

e Move the cursor forward one word;

ge Move the cursor backward one word;

The cursor of the above two commands falls on the last letter of word;

W, b, e correspond to all capitalized commands, capitalized W,B,E correspond to larger boundary ranges ()

All of the above commands can be moved quickly by adding some numbers to the front of the command;

For example:

Move 3 characters to the left: 3h

Move down 3 lines: 3k

Move forward 3 words: 3w

III. For one line of commands:

0 or ^: Move the cursor to the beginning of the line;

$: Move the cursor to the end of the line;

fx: Find the x character in the current line of the cursor, and move the cursor to the x character, and add the number 3fx in front of it, search and locate the x that appears for the third time in the current line;

Fx: Same as above, only the direction is backward search;

tx: Find the x character in the current line of the cursor, and move the cursor to a character before the x character, and add the number 3tx in front;

Tx: Find the x character after the cursor and position the character after the x character;

fx,Fx,tx,Tx can all be repeated with, and; to repeat the previous operation;

%: Move the cursor over the matching bracket;

IV. cursor movement for the entire file;

gg Move to the beginning of the first line of the file, with a number such as: 100gg(move to the beginning of 100 lines)

G moves to the beginning of the last line of the file;100G has the same effect as 100gg;

v. Cursor movement across the screen;

H means Home, move the cursor to the top of the first line of the current screen;

M means Middle, move the cursor to the beginning of the line in the current screen;

L means Last , move the cursor to the beginning of the last line on the current screen;

vi. Screen scrolling;

CTRL+u : Scroll down half screen, understood as screen text up (up) indented half screen;

CTRL+D : Scroll up half screen, understood as screen text down (down) to retract half screen;

CTRL+E : Scroll up one line;

CTRL+Y : Scroll down one line;

CTRL+f : Scroll forward one screen, actually the whole screen to two lines, f is understood as Forward;

CTRL+b: Scroll backward one screen,b understood as backward
