Navica provides two powerful tools for SQL query work: the query Editor can edit the query text directly, and the query creator can visually create the query. Users can save the query as the setting plan, and click the "query" button in the Navicat main interface to open the list of query objects. Or click the "New query" button in the main window to open the query creation tool or query Editor.

Open the query using an external editor, right-click on the query and select Open with external Editor. You can set the file path of the external editor in the options.

Warm Tip: the query (.sql) is saved in the set location. To open the folder, right-click on the query and select "Open included folder". If the connection is synchronized to the Navicat Cloud query will be saved in the cloud.
