At the Ignite 2017 conference, which ended yesterday, Microsoft officially announced that it plans to launch the Office 2019 suite in the second half of next year.

Office 2019 is an orthodox successor to Office 2016, a stand-alone office suite without subscription services and extensive cloud support to distinguish it from Office 2016.

Microsoft said the preview version will be released in the middle of next year and the official version in the second half of the year.

In terms of new features, Office 2019 will further optimize touch and handwriting, Excel will add new formulas and tables, and PowerPoint will support image transformation and scaling animation.

It is reported that Office users can upgrade directly to Office 2019 during the subscription period.

Currently, the Office 365 one-year personal subscription is 399 yuan, and the Office 2016 Family Student Edition package is 748 yuan.

In addition, Microsoft recently announced that Offcice 2007 will be out of service on October 10 this year.
