I came into contact with the IIS built by 2008 and 2003 systems at work, but I am not very familiar with it. Recently, I saw teacher Dai Youwei's 2012 network management and rack station. 7.WebDAV manages website files: this feeling is very hanging, you can manage web files.

8. Website application settings: it's fun.

Managing Web site files through WebDAV: seeing this feature for the first time, it allows users with appropriate permissions to manage files in the WebDAV folder of a remote Web site.

Testing process:

1. Install WebDAV publish role service: click on it

two。 Enable and set WebDAV: add authoring rules and verification methods. Authoring rules give a user permission to read, source and write content. Authentication is the authentication method when WebDAV clients come to connect. Windows authentication method is selected here.

3.WebDAV client settings: it seems that win7, win8, and other systems have built-in WebDAV Redirector (a remote file system built on the WebDAV communication protocol, which allows the client to access the files in the WebDAVWeb server by accessing the network file server.), the client uses the way to map the network drive when connecting here.

After WebDAV, there are only website application settings, ASP.NET and PHP, as well as quick installation of applications through Web PI, setting up WordPress blogs, etc., just follow the actions in the book.
