2) install gdb

Wget http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gdb/gdb-7.8.tar.xz

Tar-xf gdb-7.8.tar.xz

Cd gdb-7.8/

. / configure

Make

Sudo cp gdb/gdb / usr/local/bin/gdb
