Using SecureCRT and xshell to generate the public key of ssh login linux under windows system

Method 1 use the SecureCRT tool

1. Open our SecureCRT client and click tool-- > create public key..

2. For the key type, we choose an asymmetric RSA and follow the prompts for the next step.

3. Pass phrase setting, which needs to be entered when connecting to the server, and can be changed through securecrt after setting.

Next, the key length, 2048.

4. The private key address and file name are saved here. Be sure to take good care of it. You'd better back up the other disks outside disk C. Identity is the private key and Identity.pub is the public key. Send the file content or file to the operation and maintenance staff to add server login permissions.

Method 2 use xshell

1. Open the Xshell interface, which is easy to operate in Chinese. Menu bar: tools-- New user key Generation Wizard

2. Select RSA for the key type and 2048 bits for the key length, and click next to continue.

3. Generate a public key pair soon. Click next to continue.

4. The key name can be customized, with a name that you understand, or by default, enter the password encrypted by the key for remote login

5. Make a copy of the generated public key, or save it as a file to complete the key generation.
