Due to the recent security level evaluation of the project, servers and network devices are required to log in using SSH.

AIX6.1 does not have SSH installed by default. Need to manually install OpenSSL and OpenSSH.

1. Download directly to my cloud disk

two。 Create a folder and upload the file to the corresponding folder on the server using the ftp tool after download

Mkdir / tmp/openssl

Mkdir / tmp/openssh

3. Install openssl

Cd / tmp/openssl

Gzip-d openssl-0.9.8l.tar.gz

Tar xfv openssl-0.9.8l.tar

Cd openssl-0.9.8l

Start the installation:

Smitty install_latest

Attention should be paid to this place:

The first step, enter:. (. Indicates installation in the current directory)

The second step is to ACCEPT new license agreements? Change it to yes.

The method of modification is

First use the arrow keys to move down to "ACCEPT new license agreements?" This option

Then press F 4, and then use the arrow keys to move to select YES. Then press enter again.

Until it prompts command OK. Indicates a successful installation

4. Install openssh

Cd / tmp/openssh

Uncompress openssh_5.2p1_aix61.tar.Z

Tar xfv openssh_5.2p1_aix61.tar

Also use smitty install_latest installation. This is the same as the SSL installation.

5. SSH starts automatically after installation.

Check the startup status: active indicates that the startup is successful.

I want to check c-a | grep ssh

Check to see if the port is already listening: Port 22

Netstat-na

Start the service:

Startsrc-s sshd

Shut down the service:

Stopsrc-s sshd
